Massotherapy
Presentation
Massage therapy is the application of a set of manual techniques aimed at improving a person’s well-being through the execution of hand movements on various living tissues. Among other things, this therapy acts on the skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments.
Massage is used in traumatology (accidents), rheumatology (back pain, muscle tension, osteoarthritis, polyarthritis), neurology (Parkinson’s disease, progressive polyneuritis) and dermatology. Massage can also be used in sports, to warm up muscles before a competition (athletics) or reduce fatigue after exercise (cycling). And then there’s the relaxing massage, which relaxes every part of the body, simply to feel good.
